Zinc PCA is the zinc salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA), a natural component of the skin’s natural moisturizing factor (NMF).
It combines the moisturizing properties of PCA with the antibacterial and sebum-regulating effects of zinc. Due to these properties, Zinc PCA is widely used in cosmetic formulations for oil control, acne care, and skin conditioning.
